Why you shouldn’t let the scales derail your body transformation

This is Vivienne and yes, that’s her wearing her gym pants under her jeans that no longer fit! That was at the end of her first 12-week transformation block in August. In 12 weeks Vivienne dropped 2kg and 14.5cm.

What’s even more exciting is that Vivienne is halfway through her second transformation block and guess what? She’s already dropped another 13cm. Funny thing about this is that this time she has only dropped 400g. Which can only mean one thing – more muscle! 

And in case you’ve been hiding under a rock, building and maintaining lean muscle is super important because it has the biggest daily influence on how many calories we burn!

Has Vivienne been 100% compliant – nope, not at all!!! But what Vivienne has done is consistently tried to improve her habits (and beat that 3pm sugar craving) and her efforts are clearly paying off as seen both in this photo and that she can now fit into a dress she wore 5 years ago when she weighed 10kg less!
